Dear friends, today I’m going to tell you about one of my very, very favorite fish restaurants in Milan, Al Grissino. This place, founded in 1970, proudly holds the title of “bottega storica”, which is given to institutions over 50 years old.
I definitely recommend it for dinner to everyone, both locals and travelers. It’s not only historical, but also absolutely one of the most delicious fish restaurants in Milan, with typical Italian cuisine on the one hand and non-trivial combinations on the other.
I was impressed by the warm salad with octopus and asparagus for the starter, and for the main course – sea bass tagliata with fresh artichoke carpaccio on top. Feel free to choose any dish though, everything is delicious! Good news for those who love raw seafood – there’s a great selection of fantastic and high-quality ones here.
The wine list is excellent. The average bill is 85 euros.
An addition for my beloved travelers who’ve been asking about good restaurants near the Duomo: the best restaurants are almost always not in the tourist center, and a trip to Al Grissino is just 15 minutes by taxi!
