Dear friends, you may have noticed that I admire Vincenzo Dascanio, the famous florist and designer whose talent is trusted by the most prestigious brands and luxury hotels for their windows, showrooms and events.
Usually for Christmas Vincenzo Dascanio studio created a themed pop-up in Milan and it was truly magical! Unfortunately, there will be no project this year as the company is opening new cafes in St. Moritz and Taormina and all the attention will be directed there.
But don’t be upset – I’m sharing with you two places very close to Milan, in Cernobbio, where you can enjoy the Christmas atmosphere from the king of floristry.
Terrazza Olmo. Restaurant next to the same name villa overlooking Lake Como. One of Vincenzo’s latest projects, so of course he did the Christmas decorations himself! It turned out, in my opinion, magical. And now every Friday and Saturday dinners are accompanied by a piano from the famous Blue Note from Milan.
Is there any doubt that this is the must-visit of the winter?
Vincenzo Dascanio caffe. A cozy cafe in the heart of Cernobbio, the design was inspired by the aristocratic Art Nouveau Italian bistros of the early 1900s. Enjoy coffee and pastries in the garden in warm weather, and check out the teddy bear decorations in winter.
If someone doesn’t want to leave Milan, I remind you that Vincenzo Dascanio studio traditionally decorates the lobby and restaurant of the Four Seasons Hotel, as I wrote about in Christmas digest.
