Dear friends, I have exciting news to share. The renowned Milanese boulangerie Égalité has now opened its doors in the Brera district. The location is perfect for catching up with friends over coffee and freshly baked pastries or enjoying an aperitif. And of course, they also offer baguettes and various kinds of bread. My favorite is the one with raisins and nuts.
As expected, the interior and ambiance exude a charming French atmosphere, and the prices are very reasonable. The coffee here is better than in the first branch of the chain and has no acidic aftertaste!
I’m sure there will always be a crowd and a queue at the entrance, so I suggest following my lead: choose the rainiest day possible (like today) and head to Égalité for breakfast! Make sure to try their heavenly almond croissant, which is my ultimate carbohydrate joy.
By the way, read here about other places where you can find almond croissants in Milan.
