Events in Milan. November 2023

What to do and how to enjoy Milan during the last month of autumn.

Dear friends, here are the most interesting cultural events in November according to Settimana Gourmet:

November 3. Blue Note. Performance by Stacey Kent, a Grammy-nominated jazz vocalist, at the iconic Milan venue. Just a reminder, at this establishment, guests can sit at tables, have dinner, and enjoy the concert.

November 4,5. Villa Necchi Campiglio. Traditional Colori d’Autunno fair dedicated to autumn plants, flowers, and gardening. Even if you don’t plan to buy anything, I highly recommend it for visual pleasure.

November 6. Teatro Lirico. Rhythm of the dance – traditional Irish dances. I’m planning to go, and I recommend it to you as well, to broaden your horizons and visit this recently renovated, underrated theater in the city center.

Starting from November 9. Gallerie d’Italia. Photo exhibition celebrating the centenary of opera diva Maria Callas. By the way, this is one of my favorite museums in Milan in terms of atmosphere.

November 26. Traditional monthly vintage market at Naviglio Grande.

Throughout November. Palazzo Reale. Exhibitions of great artists. Goya and El Greco.

Throughout November. Candlelight. Musical concerts by candlelight in Milan’s palazzos. The program is diverse and often pop-oriented, so it’s suitable for those who haven’t yet developed a love for classical music.

Throughout November. Teatro alla Scala. Ballet “Onegin” and the opera “L’amore dei tre re.” Please check the dates using the links, but the important thing is that tickets are available. And for my guide on how to buy tickets and choose the best seats at La Scala, read here.

Wishing you all a fantastic cultural November, and feel free to add other interesting events in the comments.
